Our good causes

The Nightingale Walk was founded in 1979 by regulars from the Nightingale Pub in response to the Oxfam Cambodia Famine appeal of the time.

Since then the walkers have raised over £500,000 for local and international charities.

Our aim in recent times is funds to support initiatives and organisations that improve the lives of disadvantaged people and build community spirit in the Wandsworth area.
